"My Pump isn't working or won't prime."

There are many reasons this may happen. The two most common are;

1. The pump has lost prime due to a low water level. In order for the skimmer to function properly, the water level should be in the middle of the tile.
See picture below.

2. Many take the pool sweep and hose out of the water or move it to the side of the pool, then plug it back in without filling up the hose with water. If your pool sweep hose is floating on the surface of the water {as shown on the right} then this is what has happened.
